Miss. Jolee Belle (and no that is not her real name, but we have always called her that) wanted to get her haircut when Granna came to visit. So first thing we did with Granna and brother in tow was...head to Sweet & Sassy! The cut she ended up with, was not exactly what I asked for but it is what we got. I asked for, a straight across little bob shoulder length, I stated right at her shoulders. Clearly as you can see, my shoulder length and the stylist shoulder length's are two totally different things. She absolutely loves her hair, and it seems that everyone that has seen it loves it too and it is growing on me. Who am I kidding, I think she is always cute!!
Maybe it hit me hard, just because she looks WAY to old with her new haircut! And also that same week, I received a post card telling about the Parent Orientation that is coming up at Jolee's new school and I could be a tad bit hormonal still! But, oh my gosh my baby girl is growing up!She is still in the business of cracking us up, the girl is hilarious! She told me the other day (while she was painting) she was going to make a book, for all the earth to see. Grownups, Children, and even 2 and 3 year olds will love it, she said. It will be all over the world!
She asked for a Barbie Big Girl Bicycle, for her birthday so we got her one and instead of riding it, she told me she uses it to sit on and concentrate. I then told her, she could sit on the floor and concentrate, but the $70 Barbie bicycle she was going to ride not just sit on!
They both still adore each other and that thrills my heart. He just lights up and smiles when she is talking or singing to him or if she is talking to someone else and he hears her, he will look and look to find her. The same is with her, it seems like he does something new everyday and she is his biggest cheerleader! When she wakes up in the morning, she goes straight to his room, if he is crying she sings or talks to him, its just precious to watch them together! It is also hilarious, to listen to Jolee talk baby talk to him!

My big boy, is just that... a big boy! He is doing great and grows more and more, I'm convinced every day! He is cooing, laughing, jabbering, all the time and it is sooo cute! He has also learned to roll over. Granna caught him rolling over for the his first time last Sat. and since then, he has not stopped! And the not so fun part, is big boy is teething! Yes teething, he has turned into a drool bucket, has his hands in his mouth chomping on them all the time, he gets really irritable some times, and you know all the other stuff that goes along with teething the rash, the poop, etc, etc! But he just loves when you rub his gums or if you give him something cold, like a teether to chew on!
I finally took the net thing out of his bathtub, because 1. he was hanging out of it, 2. you could not get to his double chins to wash, and 3. it just wasn't working out for us anymore. So now he is just, in his tub propped up on the back and he absolutely LOVES it! First thing, he noticed is that he can kick those feet and water will splash and the louder his sister laughs the faster and harder he kicks! It is funny, and it does serve alot of purposes 1. Everyone is happy and laughing, 2 My sink and counter top gets water on them (so its kinda like washing them off) and 3. If I am hot (and I have been lately, due to this crazy heat) I get watered down or it's kinda like getting a mini shower! I love both of my babies so much and I love my life!!
I love the Jolee's new haircut!! Can't get over how big Breenan has gotten. I especially like the bathtub picture where you can see that little belly. Once it cools off and Lucas comes, we will bring Matthew's bike out and maybe they can ride together. Love Ya, Beth
