Jolee started dance class yesterday. We both are very excited about it. We are at a new studio this year and she is taking ballet, tap, and gymnastics. Their was 16 girls in her class last night and let me tell you, 16 little girls in tap shoes is LOUD, but oh so cute!

She took Ballet last year and wore a size 9 in her Ballet shoes. This year of course we had to buy new ones, because she went from a size 9 to a size 10 1/2!

She was so excited about getting back into her tights and leotards, to watch the her little skirt fly up as she twirled around and around.

This is her first year of tap (so therefore her first pair of tap shoes) and she is so excited about it. I love it! Don't her size 11 tap shoes look absolutely adorable on her feet. She has been wearing them around the house today, since she learned how to do a shuffle last night saying... she needs to practice. I think she just likes to hear the noise it makes!
I did say we were at a new studio this year, what I failed to mention at the beginning of this post is that one of her teachers is Sis. Amanda (Carrigan's Mom). We go to church together and our families all have a special relationship. So the girls and their Mama's are both very exciting they will be learning and having fun together at dance class.
Oh the memories, that flood my mind as I watch her dance and listen to her tell me what she learned and as I get her ready to go to dance. Dance was a huge part of my life during middle school and high school. I absolutely loved it and I think my daughter shares the same passion (at least for now).

She looks so cute in her leotard and tights. Can't wait to see/hear video of her tap tap tapping away!
