The 2nd part!

Ok, so here is the 2nd part of pictures from our trip to Bama! There are so many good and cute pictures of the kids with cousins and grandparents, it's hard to pick which ones are blog worthy!

 Pappy and Brennan

Audrey and Jolee were inseparable, they had so much fun together. If one went somewhere, the other went too. They tried to dress alike alot of the time and wanted to match up their gowns at night. I am so glad they have such a great friendship already. I hope it continues to grow, like mine and Audrey's mom's relationship.

It was so good getting to visit with my Grandpa, please keep him and the family in your prayers.

 Grandma Beth and Brennan
This was the 1st time Grandma Beth had seen him, so you can imagine her shock!

Oh the stories I could tell about our trip to the creek. This creek is behind my grandparents house, it is absolutely beautiful and is the creek that me and my brother grew up on. The sad part is, those rocks should all be under water. The other sad part is, I have gotten way older and out of shape to hike up and down those steep, steep hillsides. I honestly don't remember it being so steep, I was scared to death! I'm going to be honest I was not helping my daughters fears at all. She was crying, I was on the verge of crying and all I could keep saying was...I don't remember it being this steep? Are we sure it was? Are we sure we want to go down to the creek? Etc, Etc!

So at one part, I just closed my eyes and started sliding on my bootie down the hill side (it was that steep) screaming!
Aunt Michele with her older kids...Joseph, Edison and Audrey!
Pappy and Weston!
Weston had absolutely no fear at all. He gave it all he got, he was fearless (just like his Daddy used to be).
Jolee and Granna
She is so my daughter. She was freaked out. All she talked about was going to the creek and before we even stepped foot into the woods, I'm talking we were walking towards the woods to get down to the creek and she was already saying...I changed my mind, I'm scared, I don't want to do this any more? Can we go back?

I was no help to her, I was scared myself and was trying to figure a way that I could get back to the house too!
Thank goodness Aunt Michele stepped in and stopped and talked to her about how we are supposed to not be afraid and trust in God and to just look around at all the beautiful trees, leaves, the hillside, the creek, etc that God had created for us to enjoy. I'm talking my daughter was in freak out mode. Then she told Jolee, that when we are afraid of something, we are supposed to stop and pray and ask God to help us.

So right then and there as we are hanging off of a cliff, she stopped and prayed for Jolee and ask God to calm her fears. Jolee at this point was just at sniffles as I looked up and said ok, can you come have prayer with me too, so I won't be scared any more either.

We had a great time, showing our kids the creek. However, climbing back up the hillside showed me how out of shape I really was. My legs where shaking and I couldn't hardly breathe from huffing and puffing so much trying to get back up. Instead of starting a diet, to help my out of shapeness when I got back up the hill, I ate powder donuts.
