Last weekend, our little family headed out to a corn maze/pumpkin patch. We had taken Jolee there a couple of years ago, but wow it had changed and gotten bigger since then.
The kids LOVED it and had such a GREAT time, as I LOVED watching their little faces, when they saw all their was to do. They played on the playground, we rode a cow train..Jolee picked out the cow cart that said sugar and the cart I picked out for Brennan and I said T-Bone! They climbed and played on hay, we went on a hay ride out to see and feed cows, but somehow I was the only one that fed the cows (and that sentence doesn't even sound like me)! The things you do, to try to show your kids, it's really not scary!! On the hayride, Jolee was not interested in feeding the cows, she was to busy making sure her scarf was just right...my little diva. And Brennan did not care for the huge black things mooing at all, he was more interested in watching the tractor that was pulling us and I'm sure trying to figure out, how he could get up there on it! Jolee rode a horse and Brennan watched the ducks and we all enjoyed some home made ice cream!
Towards the end, my dear husband was going to try to pass the pumpkin patch part right over. Reason #1.( I know what he was thinking)...It was getting close to game time and we still had to get some dinner, before heading home to watch it. #2. Pumpkins at the pumpkin patch are ridiculously expensive (I will give him that). Jolee however is 5 and you can't quiet pull things over on her as well anymore, without some serious questions coming from her. But I had to have pictures of the kiddos, walking through the pumpkin patch and looking at them and Jolee so gently picking them up and Brennan so rough like trying to pick them up and throw them!! Seriously, he tried, he grunted, he strained, he rolled, he threw, he did whatever he could do, to try to pick them up, even the ones that were 3X's his size. He had so much fun and I can not even describe to you, how dirty he was!
We had a wonderful trip, to the pumpkin patch this year and came home with lots of cute pictures and 2 little small pumpkins (one for each kid)! And in case you are wondering, we made it home in time to watch the start of the game and even stopped and had dinner together!

I love the collage of pictures!! We Love You!! Beth
