Tongue Achievement

I know you are all probably thinking, seriously ya'll are asking him to stick out his tongue? Then clapping when he does it? What is wrong with his Mother? Well if you remember (it has been awhile since I blogged, I get that) he was tongue tied. Little man had surgery back in April and they clipped it. Since then, Dr's. order's have been...get him using his tongue. Whether it be licking Popsicles (didn't work), ice cream cones (didn't work), mimicking us sticking our tongues (didn't work). But in August, my Granddad was down visiting and Brennan took up with him, like no tomorrow. He followed him around everywhere, played with him, took him books to read, even started saying Grandpa and would reach for him. And after all those months of trying and encouraging him to stick his tongue out, he held out and waited all that time for Grandpa to ask him! YAY Grandpa and YAY Brennan!! I loved watching them bond that week, it was very special to watch the memories being made, between Granddad and his Great-Grandchildren!
