Jolee was very much into writing her own letter to Santa this year. The only help she wanted was to know how to spell stuff. There was really not an order to her letter, it was more like a free for all letter to Santa. She had written... Jolee Mom Dad at the top, then Dear Santa, then words of stuff she wanted like..princesses, puppets, barbies (and yes I tried to sway her towards some words that would be good to write on her list). My sweet little girl said, since Brennan couldn't write a letter to Santa, that she would write it for the both of them. She wrote... I was good (1 time for her) and wrote... I was good (1 time for Brennan)! Also by his name, it said trucks! Very thoughtful and very boy"ish"!
It was a cute letter, her first one written by herself and I know that Santa LOVED it!
We made cookies for Santa. Even Brennan got into that (literally "got into it")! But hey we had fun and it was little man's 1st Christmas Eve, so he had to get in on the action.
If I look sick and tired here, it's because I was. You know a Mama's got to keep going, especially with a huge event like cookies and letter's to Santa!
While we were making cookies, Daddy was playing on his phone (or maybe he was looking up the status on when Santa would be arriving)! You never know!
