Jolee's 4th Birthday Party!

I know I'm a little bit behind on this post, actually a lot behind (since her Birthday was in May). But I guess it's better late than never! We usually have a Birthday Party here and then one in Alabama, with the family. Due to Brennan being so little, we could not make that trip. So the grandparents came to us this year! She picked out to have a Toy Story 2 Birthday Party, don't dare say...she is having just a Toy Story Party, she was having a Toy Story 2 party, because that is the one that Jesse was in and we love us some Jesse!

I let Jolee go with me to the stores and let her help pick out what she wants to decorate and what she wants to have at her party. It is so much fun to watch her get so excited. She also got tohelp pick out what she wanted to do at her party. She was very big on wanting to dress up like Jesse for her party and wanting to play games at her party! She picked out...musical chairs, a pinata and pin the tell on Bulls Eye! We had pizza to eat (because in Toy Story 2, they drove a pizza delivery truck) I'm telling you, she is a girl that knows what she wants and why she wants it! However, I did surprise her with her cake, she said she wanted a Jesse cake but no one makes a Jesse cake. So one night my creative juices were flowing and it came to me...a picture cake with her on it dressed up like Jesse (I already had the picture, because it went in her invitations). It turned out so cute and she was so excited! Score a creative point for Mommy!

Playing pin the tail on Bullseye! Would you believe me, if I told you that Silas drew the Bullseye free handed? Well, he did! He looked at a picture and went to drawing. It is so cute, he did a great job! I kept it and it is now on the wall in the playroom, for decoration!

This is the summertime Jesse, instead of boots she wanted to wear flip flops!

Musical chairs, was very interesting! When Jolee asked to play it at her party (with of course, music from the Toy Story 2 CD) I did not even think about, when people got out and didn't get a chair how heart breaking that would be. So needless to say, that was probably not the best game to play with a bunch of little kids! Even though Jolee and the boys liked it, it was a bit emotional for the other girls!
