Mommy's Night Out!

It could not be called a...girls night out because
Jolee said...well I'm a girl, Mom
It could not be called a big girl's night out because
Jolee said...well I'm a big girl Mom, I'm 4 now!

So then I went with... it's Mommy's night out!
Jolee said..but why?
Me...Mommy takes care of ...you, Brennan, and Daddy all the time and I love doing that, but Mommy needs a little break and a night out.
Jolee...Mom, you already had a break, remember when you went to the Dr. by yourself!
Me: Mommy is going out and you are going to stay home and play with Daddy and Brennan.
Jolee...Ok Mom!
Why did I not just say that, in the first place? But that goes to show you, how long it has been since I have had a girls night out (clearly it has been awhile, Jolee is 4 and was shocked like she had never seen nor heard of this before)!!

So we Moms... Amanda, Me and Mommy to be... Stacy, took on the Pottery place and dinner at Outback last Sat. night!! It was a much needed night out with the girls, there was lots and lots of laughter and talking! Amanda and I felt like big girls, that night with our heels on and a real purse instead of the usual, flip flops and diaper bags!!!

Amanda painted a cute, cute, cute, hairbow holder for the girls bedroom with there initials on it! She is very crafty (it's probably the cheerleader in her) although that theory didn't hold up, when they found out I used to be one too!

Stacy after getting over the initial stress of picking out what colors and what to paint, had a great time painting something for little Daisy's room!

And after making a decision finally (you know how I am about making decisions) went with a oval shaped thingy that I painted with a polka dotted "F" and then with our names around it! Once you get to painting and talking (after all the decisions have been made) it was so fun and relaxing!

We haven't got them back yet but when we do, rest assure I will post pictures of our finished masterpieces!

I know, it looks like I'm ready to eat in this picture ( I was ready to eat) but I promise that is not a fork in my hands. It was a paint brush. I couldn't pick my masterpiece up, it was still wet so instead I held up some painting utensils for the kodak moment!

After we finished up there, we headed to Outback (it just happens to be mine and Amanda's favorite place) and all we had to do, was mention cheese fries to Preggo and she was on board!! We had appetizers and a meal (because we were not in a hurry, to get out of there due to kiddos and could take our time because we had no one else to feed!!!

I had a wonderful night out and I felt very refreshed when I got back and was ready to start taking care of my beautiful family once again!
